Goojet wins Red Herring Top 100 Europe 2008 Award
For those of you who don’t know it, it is an award given par Red Herring, an american media company. Each year, they select best start-ups from all over the world in the high-tech field. They have differents categories and one of them is Europe. Among previous winners of a Red Herring Award, we can find ebay, Skype or even google ! You can so understand why it is such a pleasur for us to have such a price this year. Getting this award is giving the whole team more motivation to finalize the new version of Goojet, coming before the summer…

It has been disclosed on Tuesday 15th during a conference that took place in Malta : Goojet isone of the winners of the Red Herring Top 100 Europe.
So GooJet is one of 99 other companies getting the same Award? How prestigious is an Award that 99 other companies also got? What was the criteria to get this “award”? Doesn’t sound that hard to achieve.
RW : it’s an award given to 100 companies you’re right. But it’s out of hundreds of companies selected and reviewed by the Red Herring team.
cedric, its a scam. They have their journalists “review’ the companies. They use no research, no methodology, theyare only looking for private start-ups so they can invite them to their conference and have their paid sponsors solicit them. There is no real “Award”. Do some research and you will see is a total scam. Besides, Red Herring has been on its last leg for a few years, they are not something to brag about.
